I study language and multimodal AI, with a focus on understanding, evaluating, and improving modern AI systems.
I am a Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. My research interests span Natural Language Processing, multimodal learning, vision-language models, LLM evaluation, and trustworthy AI. I am particularly interested in how these systems can be understood, evaluated, improved, and adapted across different languages, domains, and data settings.
My recent work includes multilingual NLP, visual question answering, synthetic multimodal data, AI safety, and model evaluation. Alongside my own research, I actively supervise undergraduate researchers and collaborate on projects spanning NLP, multimodal AI, medical AI, and related areas.
